Hi friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! I certainly did… fun with family and friends and a lot of relaxing. 🙂

You might have noticed some new colorways this time. I am excited to be introducing three new colorways today (well, one was up last week but I didn’t mention it, oops!):

“Ethereal” on Expedition Sport

“Ladies Who Lunch” on Journey Sock

“Whisper” on Journey Sock

These three lovelies are all new for summer, and I’m so excited to share them with you! “Ethereal” is a lovely natural white with splashes of different blues and aquas in random patterns. “Whisper” is a base of natural white with splashes of the palest lavender purple. Both of these colorways are kettle dyed, so they should not pool when knit. The last new colorway is “Ladies Who Lunch”, which I think is SO much fun! It’s a space-dyed colorway featuring kelly green, pink, bright yellow, and navy. It will create random patterning when knit, so be sure to swatch to see if you like the effect with your pattern!

I am also releasing a new fiber base today for the first time: Panda sock top! This wonderfully soft fiber is 60% superwash merino/30% bamboo rayon/10% nylon, so it is absolutely perfect for spinning for socks. It is going up today in 3 colorways (“Plum”, “Abalone”, & “The Great Berry Caper”). For those of you going to SSK, I will have this fiber at SSK as well.

This is the last update of this month, but the coupon code I mentioned a couple of weeks ago is good through midnight ET on May 31, so you still have a few days to use it! I am listing the first of my new Wanderlust Worsted base today. There are two skeins available in Sanibel Stoop:

I am also creating a listing for special orders for this yarn. It is 100% American-grown and -milled Targhee wool, a luscious bouncy 3ply, approximately 610yds/250g per skein. The skeins are $50 each and can be dyed in any of my repeatable colorways.

Hi everyone! It’s that time again… the Tuesday shop update is upon us, in a little under an hour! Here are the goodies that are going up today…

I also wanted to let you guys know that I have a large shipment of a brand-new worsted weight base on its way to me! It is a wonderful 3ply American-raised and American-milled Targhee wool yarn (so LOTS of bounce!), in absolutely enormous 610yds/250g hanks for $50 each. I will have a few colorways up for regular purchase in the shop, but the majority of this yarn will be available as a custom order in sweater quantities. Since the hanks are so big, I would hate to dye up a bunch of colorways that nobody wants, so I’ll only have the most popular ones (Abalone, Sanibel Stoop, Aurora Borealis, Impressionist, Labradorite, etc.) available for immediate purchase. But as always, I get custom orders done ASAP, so if you choose to custom order this yarn you’ll have it dyed and shipped out within 2 weeks. You can choose any of my repeatable colorways for your custom order. 🙂 I will have the custom order listings up as soon as the shipment gets here, and you’ll be seeing regular listings go up starting next week in the regular update.

I’m back from a crazy busy and fun-filled weekend at MDSW. Still tired and dragging a bit, but trying to get back into the swing of things! I have today’s 4pmET shop update all ready for you guys… here are your previews!

I have one new colorway going up today, called Honey Man.

“Honey Man” on Journey Sock

It is named after an eccentric character that hangs out at Knoxville TN coffee shops, eating honey packets and playing on his “computer”. I dyed this one in honor of my Knoxville spinning guild friends, who are always on the lookout for the Honey Man!

I also marked quite a few things down in the shop today. You can find them in the SALE section. All of the items in that section are of great quality, but have been languishing in the shop for a while and I’d like to see them go to new homes and make room for new items! 🙂
