August 31 Shop Update

Hi folks! It’s been a busy few weeks, and I’m sorry I haven’t posted more. My husband has been out of town for work and my daughter has been keeping me hopping!

I have an update ready to go for 8/31 at 1pmET. This time there are two skeins of Superbulky, and 5 gorgeous one of a kind sock blanks.

I will likely have an update next week on 9/7, and might do one on 9/14, but will take 2 weeks off after that since I will be coordinating Into The Wool 9/21-24 and then recovering from said coordinating the following week. 😉

August 17 Shop Update

Hi folks!

My shop updates are a bit sporadic right now, as my husband is out of the country for work and I’m single parenting. 🙂

I divided my time since the last update between the Unwind Yarn Company shop, and my Unwind In Stitches Etsy shop, and am doing updates in both today.

First, the yarn portion, which is going up in the Unwind Yarn Company shop:

Top Row: Mariposa on Touring DK, Earth on Touring DK; Bottom Row: O’Bannon on Touring DK, In Dreams on Touring DK

As you can see, all the listings going up this week are on Touring DK (which happens to be my favorite non-fingering-weight base). All four of these colorways have at least two skeins available; In Dreams (bottom right) has 4, so you could easily get a short-sleeved sweater out of it! They will be available at 2pmET for purchase.

In my newly revamped Unwind In Stitches Etsy shop, I am focusing on sewn items and small gifts. This week, I have listed some knitting project bags, pincushions, and pencil bags:

All of these items are priced perfectly for gift giving, or as a small treat for yourself. They are all currently listed and available for purchase. Be sure to check the Etsy shop often, as I likely won’t be doing scheduled updates in it, but will be listing items as I finish them.

August 3 Shop Update

Hello everyone!

It’s been quite a week here in southeastern Tennessee. We have been struggling with over 100 degree heat index temperatures with 80% humidity, and now the weather has finally broken and is only in the low 90s with 50% humidity. It’s been a real treat- and I know how ridiculous that sounds.

Regardless, time marches on, and it’s time for the start of this year’s Halloween updates! I decided against doing brand new colorways this year, and instead dyed a lot of my most popular colorways from prior years.

There are limited quantities available in this update, as I always find it difficult to predict what people will want to purchase when it comes to Halloween yarns. If there is a large demand for a single color or another I would be happy to dye more of it- and the same goes for any of my other Halloween colorways that I didn’t dye in this round (they are listed in the Special Editions tab linked under the blog header). Feel free to place a custom order if you want something different, or if the yarn you want sells out! I’m running at a 2-3 week turnaround right now so you’ll definitely get your yarn in plenty of time to make that Halloween-themed project of your dreams!

There are only 3 of the miniskein sets available this time, and once they sell out I do not have plans to dye them again. So if you love this set, be sure to get to the update on time at 2pmET!
