Hi folks!
Well I am freshly returned from the Into The Wool Fiber Retreat, a knitting retreat I run in Crossville TN every September, and my heart is full of fun memories of spending 4 wonderful days with my tribe.

2017 Into The Wool Participants
One of the best parts of the retreat is the vendor market, where a carefully selected group of vendors have the opportunity to sell in a closed market setting to the attendees. I will brag on the vendors and say that they are always the cream of the crop, have unique wares, and make the attendees extremely happy. And of course, I vend too, since I don’t pay myself a salary for the coordination and organization of the retreat (I know, I’m crazy, but it’s necessary for business tax reasons), and I love every minute of my time vending there.

My table at this year’s market
I tried a new setup (the crates) and I absolutely LOVED it. I think the attendees enjoyed it too!
All of this to say, I always dye in lots of 4 or 8, so when I dyed up Halloween colorways this year, I set aside some for the retreat. When some didn’t sell at the event, I knew exactly what I was going to list in the shop in today’s shop update.

September 28 1pmET shop update
Today’s update features the beauties above, some in single skeins only, and some in pairs… plus one of the special edition miniskein sets, which won’t be repeated. The update goes live at 1pmET, but all listings are currently available for your perusal in preview mode. I hope you’ll take a look!
And if you’re interested in potentially attending the 2018 Into The Wool Fiber Retreat, be sure to check out our website (still a work in progress) and the Ravelry group for more information, as well as the hashtag #intothewoolfiberretreat2017 on Instagram for all of the photo fun from the weekend.
Take care, and I’ll see you next week!
XO-
