Well we had some crazy weather last week, so I ended up not being able to get any work done due to not having any child care. I did get a shop update put up on Saturday, but I think it got lost in the shuffle of the weekend… so here’s a reminder of the beauties I listed!
Top: “Love Note” on Rendezvous Sport, “Auld Lang Syne” on Rendezvous Sport; Middle: “Goldenrod” on Outing Bulky, “Bruise” on Holiday Worsted; Bottom: “Succulence” on Outing Bulky, “Succulence” on Holiday Worsted
So now for this week’s update… a few old favorites, and one brand new colorway!
Top: “Grand Budapest” on Journey Sock, “Birth Of Venus” on Journey Sock; Middle: “Dirty Martini” on Outing Bulky, “Everyone’s A Unicorn” on Honeymoon Sock; Bottom: “Bonnie Wee Thing” on Journey Sock, “A Good Place” on Journey Sock
As per usual, the update will go live at 1pmET tomorrow (1/25).

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you see something you want to stash!
I am excited to be back with the first update of 2018! I’ve been a busy little bee lately, creating a new colorway series (more on that in a minute) as well as a few new standalone colorways that are just GORGEOUS.
Going up today at 1pmET in the shop…
Top Row L-R: Baby There’s A Shark In The Water, Auld Lang Syne, Lonely Hearts Club Middle Row: Auld Lang Syne, Bird On A Wire, Lonely Hearts Club Bottom Row: Queen Of Everything, Stained Glass Sock Blank, Auld Lang Syne
Auld Lang Syne and Baby There’s A Shark In The Water are brand new, and Lonely Hearts Club and Queen Of Everything were new in 2017. The sock blank is actually the 2017 Into The Wool colorway rendered on a blank, but as with all of my blanks it is a one of a kind.
Something new this week is a brand new colorway series. As I’m now a quilter AND a knitter, I’ve been thinking a lot about ways that both crafts intersect. In quilting, a “blender” is a fabric that reads as a single color and can be used to tie together more vibrant, variegated fabrics into a harmonious single project. I think it’s high time that we have that option in yarns too! So I have created my Perfect Blender Series to help out with that! 2 color shawls, “fade-style” projects, and speckled/variegated yarns often call out for a more semisolid option to go with them, so hopefully these new colorways will fill that need. I am starting out with 6 colorways, and will add onto these over the next few months. It is taking me a while to get the listings/blog page compiled as I am going through all of my dye formulas and populating a list of the colorways that they will easily go with, in case you don’t want to do the sleuthing yourself. 😉 There will be 2 colorways listed right at the update time today, and the rest will be added on as I have time over the next few days. These are going to be custom order listings and will take 3-4 weeks to ship after the order is placed (maximum), and will not be eligible for coupon codes (as none of my custom order listings are). To see the Perfect Blenders, visit the page linked under the blog header.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you’ll swing by the shop as well! 🙂 Until next time…
