11.30.13 Surprise Sneak Update!!

Hey friends!

I hope you’re all having a wonderful holiday weekend. I think I’m finally recovered from my food coma and am gearing up to go shopping this afternoon with my family. Brave me! 😉

11.26.13 Shop Update, Thanksgiving Weekend Sale, and MORE!!

I am so sorry I have forgotten to post on the blog lately! It honestly slipped my mind, and I am really sorry about it.

You may have noticed that there are a few new colors up there. I am actually debuting two today, and want to introduce them to you!

 

Merry Fallmas on Twinkle Sock (top) and Falkland spinning fiber (bottom)

This first colorway is called “Merry Fallmas”, and was designed as a collaboration between me and Sarah of Another Crafty Girl while she was here for a visit. It is very evocative of my favorite time of year- the end of fall and the beginning of the Christmas season! As you can see, this is a very rich colorway that lends itself well to yarn or to fiber. In this update, it will be available on Twinkle Sock, Expedition Sport, Falkland spinning fiber, and Merino/Silk spinning fiber. In future updates it will be available on other bases too. And as always, it’s available for custom order too!

Crafts & Laughs 2013 on Journey Sock

This colorway was also born as a collaboration between me and Sarah. Sarah, Malia of the Yarnraising Podcast, and my best friend Brittany all came for a weekend visit and we wanted to create a yarn that was as much fun as we were having! This colorway starts with a white base yarn, then sprinkles of fuschia pink, bright violet, orange, and blue are added to create a “funfetti” sprinkle style yarn. I named it “Crafts & Laughs 2013” because that’s what we called our weekend visit. It will knit up into a very fun project.

Now I’m sure you’re wondering about the Thanksgiving weekend sale. I am offering 15% off your entire order (even sale items, custom orders & sweater quantities!) with coupon code TURKEY13. The coupon will be activated at 12:01amET on Black Friday morning (so 12:01am 11/29) and will automatically deactivate at 11:59pmET on Cyber Monday (so 11:59pmET 12/02).
