Hi everyone!
I have been thinking a lot lately, and one thing I really want to do for my business is make it easier for my customers to see what my yarns look like knit up. All dyers have a distinct style, and even though it’s hard for me to really discern my own, I suppose I do too. 😉 I would love to compile pictures of my yarns knit up into projects so prospective customers (or repeat ones!) can see what a particular colorway looks like knit up.
As you can imagine, my knitting time is limited because I’m busy running the business, but I know that a lot of you out there have knit up a lot of my colors, and that’s where you come in! I would love to have you submit pictures of my colors knit up, for me to feature here on the blog and as a permanent part of my color catalogue. I know some colors are more popular than others, so I can’t promise to feature everyone’s knitted-up project out of Abalone or Aurora Borealis (;-P) but I would like to get as many examples as possible.
What’s in it for you, you might ask? Well I have a few things in mind… shop credit if you’re featured, a set of mini skeins, an exclusive discount… you’ll definitely be rewarded for helping me, I promise!
So what I need you to do is this… send me the highest quality picture you have of a project out of my yarn. It needs to be fairly close-up and as high pixels as you can. You can email your pictures to UnwindYarnCompany (at) gmail (dot) com, and include a link to your Ravelry project page too if at all possible. I want people to be able to get all of the details of your project from your own page, and will link your project with the picture. Any of my repeatable colorways are eligible to be submitted; if you have a question of whether or not the colorway you used is repeatable, check the alphabetical links under the shop header. If the colorway isn’t listed, it isn’t repeatable and is not eligible for entry.
I appreciate your help SO much, and can’t wait to see pictures of your FOs!
XO,
Dana
